NHS OR PRIVATE, IS IT WORTH IT?
There is a cost difference in NHS and private difference, but that is not the only difference.
At our clinic, we understand the limitations that often come with NHS dentistry, where the focus on seeing a high volume of patients can result in shorter, rushed appointments. This can leave little time for personal comfort, detailed conversations, or addressing your individual questions. We believe that your experience should be different, and we’ve worked to remove these challenges.
In an NHS setting, treatment quality can sometimes be compromised due to time constraints. For example, a 20-minute NHS root canal versus a 90-minute private root canal can yield very different results. That's why we offer extended appointment times, ensuring that each treatment is delivered with the utmost care and attention, without the pressure of time. We recognize that many of our patients feel nervous, and we make it a priority to provide a calm and comfortable environment—whether it's offering a hand to hold, providing a relaxing playlist, or simply taking the time to explain every step of your treatment. Here, you're never rushed.
Another significant difference is the quality of materials and labs used in your treatment. NHS funding for treatments is limited, which can mean that the best materials or labs may not be accessible. This can impact the overall quality of your care. At our clinic, we don’t operate within such restrictions. We use only the highest-quality materials and work with the best labs, ensuring that your treatments not only look great but last longer. We believe that by providing the best possible care with superior materials, we help you achieve better outcomes, so you need us less often in the future.
You decide if the cost is the most important factor in your dental health, outcome or longevity.
