FAT DISSOLVING INJECTIONS

Aqualyx® is a non-surgical solution to minimize and remove stubborn localized pockets of fat you struggle to reduce with diet and focused exercise.

This technique of mesotherapy fat injections consists of using topical numbing cream and local anaesthetic for minimal discomfort. Small, quick injections in the area of concern over approximately 20-30 minutes per area. The solution is injected into localised fat deposits. Aqualyx® consists of phosphatidylcholine – a natural substance which, when given in higher doses, can cause the destruction of fat cells.

Destroying the fat cells is a long-term solution provided you retain a stable weight, eat healthily and continue exercise as usual. Aqualyx® leads to a permanent reduction of fatty tissue; once removed, fat cells will not reappear, however new fat cells can develop following weight gain.

Important: Aqualyx® is a body contouring treatment not a weight loss solution. It is not recommended for those more than 2 stone over their ideal body weight and 4 in 5 patients will see a noticeable difference. Between 2-6 sessions are recommended at 4 week intervals

SKINNY PEN

 Injected into your stomach once a week by you for a 4 week period. In the comfort of your own home, the pen like device significantly suppresses the hormone responsible for your appetite, reducing your appetite and resulting in less calories consumed and a highly probable weight loss. This is only suitable for those with a BMI over 27. You will be assessed at your appointment to see if you are suitable and to go through the treatment in detail, a prescription will then be issued and the Skinny pen will be sent in the post a few days later to your home address. If you are not suitable for this treatment or decide not to go ahead you will be charged £25 for the appointment. There are various different brands available, your clinician will discuss with you which option is best for you. The fee is fixed at £399, Klarna is available.

Ozempic has been used on the NHS for many decades for type two diabetics, by suppressing the hormone responsible for you feeling hungry, your appetite is less and therefore you eat less. It is common patients don't increase in weight post treatment as due to a reduction in your eating habits your stomach shrinks, so even once you have stopped the skinny pen, generally patients eat less enabling them to maintain their weight loss.

You can have more than one course of treatment as long as your BMI is still over 27, if it reduces below 27 we will not be able to prescribe further treatment.
